Ingredients
  

Ingredients for Baked Yogurt with Caramel Shards

  • 300 ml thick yogurt 
  • 150 ml condensed milk 
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence 
  • 100 gms sugar

Ingredients For caramel shards

  • 2 cups sugar
  • ½ cup water

Instructions
 

  • Start by combining all the ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Whip them using a wired whisk or an immersion blender until you get a uniform mixture. Pour the mixture into ramekins and bake them in a water bath in your oven
  • Preheated to 120C.
  • Let this bake for 15-20 mins. Remove and place the ramekins on a cooling rack.
  • Line a large baking sheet with a silicone mat. Heat the water and sugar together in a stainless steel pot on medium heat until the sugar dissolves completely. Remember not to stir.
  • Once the sugar has melted, turn the heat up and cook until you start to see it turning light golden brown. This should take about 8 minutes. Take this off heat and pour into the silicone sheet and allow it to cool until it hardens.
  • Crack this into shards using a rolling pin and top them on your baked yogurt ramekins.
