Start by scoring the top of the Brie in a crosshatch pattern with a knife, about halfway into the center.
Preheat the oven to 350° F. Place the wheel of Brie in a baking dish.
In a small bowl, combine garlic with melted butter, herbs, salt and hot honey.
Now drizzle the garlic butter mixture, not just into the crosshatch, but also around the Brie.
Bake for 15 minutes until it is nice and melty in the center. Serve immediately.
Notes
You might need to bake the Brie for slightly longer if you have a bigger wheel. Check the cheese at the 20 minute mark. The idea is to bake it until the Brie is melted. If you’re not too fond of the rind on the Brie, you can choose to remove it too. Just remember that the rind is actually edible, and brings a nice textural contrast to the melty cheese. Depending on your personal taste preference, you can also add some other seasonings and herbs of your choice. Basil, oregano and parsley are all good choices. If you have any leftovers, transfer them to a microwave-safe bowl or container and refrigerate it. It should stay fresh for 3-4 days. You can then pop it back in the microwave and serve it warm.
