Heat half of the milk in a saucepan over medium heat and add 1 teaspoon beet powder and a pinch of cinnamon. Bring to a boil
Using a milk frother, a whisk or blender, froth the remaining milk.
Transfer the hot milk to a mug, top with the frothy milk and mix. Add in the honey or sweetener of your choice.
Sprinkle some more beet powder or cinnamon powder on the top. You can also add some dried lavender if you want to.
Notes
Remember that when you’re making an iced pink latte, you’ll first need to mix just a teeny bit of the beet mixture with some hot milk before you add in the cold milk. Doing this will keep the mixture from getting grainy.
You can also try adding other warming spices like ground black pepper or ground ginger too.
Remember that if you’re using honey as the sweetener, you’ll need to add it in towards the end, right when you want to serve.
When handling beet juice or beet latte, be careful, as the fun pink color can actually stain your clothes.
