What's So Great About the Recipe?
If you can't resist a good mocktail or a chilled and refreshing drink on a summer day, this is the perfect recipe for you. It's great to make for a crowd, and enjoy on the beach, a picnic or a party, paired with some grilled tandoori corn.
Recipe Ingredients

Mango pulp: Fresh mango pulp is best! The canned version can work in a pinch if you can't find fresh mangoes.
Tea leaves: I used black loose tea here because that's what I had at hand. You can use tea bags or even green tea if you want it to be healthier.
Sugar: Granulated sugar works best!
Mint: This one's optional, but it adds a nice fresh flavor.
Lime juice: To add a bit of tanginess.

Substitutions & Variations
- Experiment with a mix of two or more fruits to create a fusion drink. I love using mangos and peaches together, but you can also try pairing mango puree with some fresh berries like strawberries or raspberries. Passionfruit and pineapple are two other great options to try.
- If you don't want to use white sugar and prefer a natural sweetener, honey and agave are good alternatives. Add them in after the tea has been strained and cooled down.

💭Top Tip
Adjust the amount of mango pulp you're using depending on the kind of consistency and intensity of flavor you prefer.

How to Store Leftover Iced Mango Tea
Store your leftover mango iced tea in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Use a clean glass jug or container to keep it fresh.
Fill these reusable, freezer safe food storage containers with leftovers, batch cooking, or use for canning sauces, jam and fruit. Includes 6 x 1 quart ( 4 cup ) clear containers with 6 green lids
Tips & Tricks to Nail the Recipe
- Make sure you brew the tea for no more than 3 minutes, and strain the tea leaves immediately. If you brew a strong tea, the end result will be a bitter-tasting concoction that you won't enjoy.
- Make sure you use ripe and sweet tasting mangos for the mango pulp. In fact, if the mango is sweet enough, you won't even need to use any additional sugar.
How to Serve Mango Iced Tea
Enjoy this mango iced tea chilled along on a hot summer day, on its own. I love making this, some mulberry mojito and my watermelon lime sorbet whenever I'm hosting a cookout or a BBQ party. Pair it with some cucumber con Tajin, a cooling Dahi Chana Chaat and a simple watermelon and Tajin salad.
And if you have some extra mangoes leftover, use them up to make a simple creamy mango salad dressing or some mango curd.
